This Is Halloween

We have yet to throw an epic Halloween party (it's on the list) but this Halloween was
one for the books (or the blog). We started out the week carving pumpkins with friends.
The night before Halloween we went to a good old fashioned corn ' fright' maze and let's just say I saw a whole different (scared) side of Kyle.

For the actual All Hallows Eve, we went up to Baltimore, Maryland and ate at the Paper Moon Diner,
which was the most eccentric, odd and overall fun restaurant. They are known for their Pez candy dispenser collection.
We next went over to the burial spot of Edgar Allen Poe.
The catacombs underneath the church. These have been underneath the church since the early 1800's.
They had someone reading the stories of Edgar Allen Poe and it really added to the creepiness level of the night.
Earlier, Kyle had taken a pill to help with an allergic reaction. As the night came to an end, it turned out to make him extremely drowsy and I took this gem of a photo at a stop sign while driving us home. I was dying. It was a struggle to help him walk into bed since that's all he could do once we got home.
The following Sunday, we had Kyle's Uncle Ray and Aunt Kristine over for dinner and
I broke in this new skull mold and made a skull cake. It was 'to die for'.
Happy Halloween!!!
